CFP Title Game, Alabama vs tOSU, Jan 11, 8:15 ET on ESPN, Miami

Just want to send out a huge "Thank You" to Ryan Day and the Buckeyes for giving me something to root for in a year that didn't have alot to root for. Between the Covid outbreak and how it disrupted my life, to having Covid myself, to losing my mother, and to watching the love of my life limp around in excruciating pain for the past 5 months due to needing hip replacement surgery that takes place next Monday, the Buckeyes gave me something positive to look forward to. Forget the outcome of this game. We all knew Alabama was the better team, and they proved it BIG TIME. But who here can say that the past 11 days were not glorious for true Buckeye fans. The wrong team lost tonight, but tomorrow, we'll sober up and realize that we are a special group with a common bond of loving the Buckeyes.

Peace

This game IMO was just a bonus. Deep down we all know this season was primarily about getting to Clemson. It was so incredibly satisfying to rectify that wrong. To get back what they stole from us last year. I was living this season for THAT GAME.

Alabama isn't the best team I've ever seen. But, there's no shame in losing our sole game to the #1 team in the country.

Getting the season back, watching our team-- especially those special guys like Olave and Hillard, going through the ups and downs of Covid and massive restrictions of the B1G has been a gift. And it all lead to that beautiful Clemson win.

Besides not being able to watch Sermon tonight and missing out on the Xichigan game, I'm more than satisfied with this past year.

I look forward to talking to you guys next year. This hilarious football chatter.... good or bad... adds to the way we experience games each week. Thanks for the bitching, moaning and memories.

I'm out. I said I was out after the half, but I lied. I don't feel bad about losing to this team, to this coach, to Smith & Jones. That was an amazing team full of individuals that I respect. We soundly beat the team of individuals that I do not respect last time out. Tonight, I would have been happy with a seven point loss. Good year in a shitty year. We just ran into the buzzsaw of GOAT.

When we lost the SECCG I thought - damn, if we play them 10 times this is as close as it gets. 20 times maybe. Congrats on an outstanding season.

I just don't feel that disappointed. Missing key parts on the field and a chaotic season ends one step away. We beat Clempson, that's enough for now. The future is really bright in Columbus. Ann Arbor and State College not so much.

BTW I love Tuff but I don't want to see him chasing receivers or tight ends anymore.
U don’t want tuff on smith you say..lol jk brother can’t wait for next year.

Not by this much...

The defensive plan tonight was just bad. That said I'll say this for Alabama... that was the best OL and best QB we've ever played. We will never play anyone like that again.

Now whether that performance was due to our inept plan or their skill is completely up in the air but I'd venture to guess it's somewhere in the middle.

They're really good up front and Jones is really good.BUT... We had a pretty trash game plan.
