Game Thread CFP Semifinal: Ohio State vs. Clemson, Sat 12/31 @ 7p ET, ESPN

I've watched the previous coaches v. players video & now the current one. The coaches are out-performing the players! Is this supposed to inspire confidence? Show us the coaching staff is awesome? Should we put the coaches on the field?

It's almost as if OSU and Clemson have changed places. Last year, Clemson released videos of pizza parties and a bunch of videos of the players goofing around. Now, there's been little to no media on their part while we're being inundated with them.

Is this trickery on Urban Meyer's part? Some kind of odd misdirection? Or, is it to loosen up a young team? Reinforce the fact this isn't the end all be all of their football experience.

BTW, a woman at my office commented I would be worried if I didn't have something to worry about.

I think you're reading far too much into things. The Bucks just won it all recently and that team was the most relaxed, loose, partying group around.

I remember them hanging out late in clubs and going to a water park right before the playoff run. Didn't seem to hold them down. Loose and motivated is a good thing. So is not wanting to kill their coaches. Relax, it's all in good fun. If they lose, staying loose and being a family/single unit won't be the problem.

I always like to say. . . I still get busy. . .

like aight. . .

Sometimes I get ridiculous
I'll eat up all your crackers and your licorice
Hey yo fat girl, c'mere--are ya ticklish?
Yeah, I called ya fat; look at me, I'm skinny
It never stopped me from getting busy
I'm a freak, I like the girls with the boom
I once got busy in a Burger King bathroom

And after all that, oh yeah, I kicked ass.

That's all I'm sayin.

Without all my distressed and tormented posts, you guys wouldn't have nearly as many opportunities to post lyrics to The Humpty Dance and South Park images. Just sayin.

Also @Telekinesis you always know how to make me feel better. But...you do realize this will inevitably continue for the next 10 days....right?

A year ago Clemson should have won it all and OSU was uninspiring in most contests . This year Clemson is just off

Of the two, I would follow the Clemson 2015 model

FWIW....

I've been trying to warn people here it's in the public's best interest Ohio State pull out a win. I don't think anyone has really thought about the ramifications of a Clemson/Bama rematch. Imagine... fans from South Carolina & Alabama invading Florida. We have enough weirdos & mullets here as it is (Google "Florida Man"). Essentially, tropical storm precautions would need to be implemented. I'd fully anticipate-

-The overwhelming smell of body odor wafting from St. Petersburg to Tampa (heck, maybe as far as Orlando)
-Walmart stores packed wall to wall- no doubt leading to stampedes & shoplifting
-Jail overcrowding alone would be a nightmare

I don't even want to think about the impact this would have on women (and cats). I'm already devising a plan in the event of this devastating possibility. I've requested off work in anticipation for either scenario.

On the plus side, strip club business would be booming.

Agreed. I'm in Orlando. Florida is awful enough as it is. Praying for an Ohio State win.
