We are the favorite and aren’t avenging a loss that’s why. I get it though I’m there too and for me I think it’s because I think “there’s no way we play so well three times in a row right?”

Well I brought this up to my wife and she had a good point. Her point was this team is very good and they’ll play well because they’re talented.

I bet you think we are due for a so so game and the underdog aspect is also now gone.

No worries though because we are the better team. Maybe we don’t have the start we’d had previous but a wins a win. We’ll get it done.

Nah we're good. Same shit different dead team walking. This team is on a mission. It eats my soul to think it but the recipe for a national title every year may be losing to tsun. How could you possibly be full of yourself or believe any hype when losing The Game creeps back in the corner of your mind? Dog walking Texas is going to be fuckin fun. Then blasting the domers and hoisting the trophy will be even sweeter.

And this off-season will still kinda suck shit because of The Game.

Finally heard a take today that I was waiting to hear. Everyone talks about this defensive front for UT. Well I don’t think they’re a top 3 defensive line we’ve played.

Finally today Zach Smith reviewed the game and stated the same thing. He went as far to call them the worst part of their defense. I think even called them a liability.

Now I don’t think they’re a liability but we’ve played better fronts. We’ve also played fronts that were better equipped to stop the run and get after us.

One thing else that bothers me is the narrative around the Texas OL. Why are they considered elite? They have the 60+ ranked rush offense and they’ve given up 30+ sacks. For comparison our offensive line has given up I believe 10 sacks

So why is it their OL is talked about with such high regard?

I can post ASU’s RB stats again, but I mean… I’m sorry, this Texas team is not good. They literally had to stop one dude from a JV team and couldn’t do it.

Georgia beat them twice and they’re garbage. The SEC is a steaming pile of fucking shit this year and its time that everyone faces the music.

I mean I get this take. They’ve played no one and the teams that could match up they’ve lost. Not just that but the two teams they played worth a damn they gave up 300+ passing (Clemson) and gave up 500+ total to ASU.

The other toughest challenge was Florida who was playing their 3rd string QB and even then gave up 197 rushing.

I am expecting a close game because I think Texas will match our energy early. However I expect us to swing harder and more often after that.
