Just watched the Scoop and Sawyer on the TX radio version of the game on YouTubers.

You have to love the confidence of the TX play by play guy.

On the PI on Matthews he is confident the rule is not like in the NFL where it is first down and half the distance.

Ref says first down and half the distance.

Play by play guy is like - you’re right. It’s half the distance.

If they were outside the 4 it would not have been half the distance, like in the case of the first one. DPI in the end zone gets marked at the 2 for any snaps between the 17 and the 4.

People are so weird sometimes. You pay all this money to go root for your team and, on the biggest play of the game, you whip out your phone to record the play and then record the other fans around you celebrating. I truly do not get it.

A play that I was shocked we didn’t hit was that deep throw to JJ on I think the second drive.

JJ goes up and it goes through his hands. Then I think Henderson took the penalty shortly after. Would’ve been a back breaker had JJ come down with that.

I don't think Texas secondary was all that great... Yes, they were good (better than Tennessee lol) but we dropped passes, shot ourselves in the foot, put behind schedule a lot .... I'm not trying to dog Texas but I didn't come away thinking wow ND is going to stop our offense. Freeman is a very bright dude & I do respect him, and Texas has lots of talent, but this is one of the most talented Ohio State rosters ever boys.

Yeah I think the potential was there to nail them early but unfortunately we missed the opportunity
