Game Thread CFP Playoff Cotton Bowl, tOSU vs Texas, Fri. Jan. 10th, 7:30 ET on ESPN

That's the idea. The motion is meant to look like a sprint out pass on a quick design. The Urban staple. This is the counter to that.

It was perfect because Texas had been playing light all game and we were hit and miss generating yardage on the ground. Involving WHs legs by design is the great equalizer.

Now that the defensive blueprint is established, expect more of the same from the Domers. Will's legs are going to be badly needed for the Natty.
i don't think ND can play zone like texas.

insane that he had nearly no reaction. Just watched it play like business as usual, then took the knee.
Just guessing, but I see a young man recognizing that he had the rest of the play off and wanting to drink in everything that moment had to offer and make a bright vivid memory. And then thank God for it.

I'll have to watch it again but in real time it seemed like if he just went straight to the sticks after he caught it he could have gotten the first down.

It worked out so who cares
Both him and Judkins have this weird fixation on stopping as if we live in cartoon world and the defenders will just keep running right past

ND can try to use the same blueprint if they want, but the materials they are using are significantly lower quality.
They also play mostly man defense. I very much welcome them trying to man up and stop the Tenn and Oregon passing attack.
i don't think ND can play zone like texas was running.
Or, what he said

Capped off by him with the interception on the next drive.
