Game Thread CFP Playoff Cotton Bowl, tOSU vs Texas, Fri. Jan. 10th, 7:30 ET on ESPN

Fuck Texas and their bitch ass whining about 2005 in Columbus. It's been 19 years. Grow a fucking pair.
We'll be waiting for them in Dallas.

Is the “home game” schtick being overplayed here? Feel like it is. Lots of Texas fans maybe but these bowl games don’t ever exude a true home field advantage even if geographically it seems it should.
The ACC refs, for the third straight game, are something I never want to see when playing an SEC team, and is probably more of an advantage for Texas than the game being in Texas is likely to be. We can assume that once again none of our defensive players will draw a holding call during the game. Although, if they just want to not call anything on either team, that would be just fine.

I just drove through that fucker and could not agree more. I was thinking of a nuke hitting it the whole time with a smile!

If you just drove through it, then I must ask: how many times did you see people go from the second or third lane to the exit ramp right in front of you?

It was left to right to left to dead fucking stop! I love the lake to the East but everything else can suck it

No shit... I had it happen three times one morning when I was driving down from OKC to Grand Prairie.
It was that experience (along with another here in OKC) that led me to get dash cam.
I can’t believe both of you could drive through Atlanta, Georgia and think it was DFW.:roll2:

Oh wait, Atlanta drivers routinely dive across five lanes. My bad.

That offense had Ryan's fingerprints all over it. All of Chip's constraints and styles were gone, and they tried to beat Michigan at a street fight with their dual top-15 talents at DT. He almost got away with it, and that may have been the death sentence for any title chaces.

They had a serious heart to heart as a team, lots of views and pleasantries were shared, and they unleashed this monster that was there the whole time.

Other than being willing to feature Smith, has the main offensive change been Chip using more motion and constraints combined with Day adding a better passing structure?

Like the defense, it seems like there was such a rigid vision of what had to be until they took a step back and realized what they could do. Which isn’t necessarily uncommon in sports. As bad as it was, it’s worked out perfectly for the playoffs, as they’re playing like a totally different team with less tendencies as they’ve all changed or evened out.
