ND Chief, you have a lot of mouth for someone who's team hasn't broken the top 10 in the past 10 years and has been ranked ahead of tOSU exactly once in that time. C'mon, what exactly is your point, other than to piss people off? I have no doubt that some day, ND will compete. But it hasn't for a long time, and there's no guarantee that CW can handle the transition from OC in the NFL to HC in college, under a microscope at that. It is a different game. For someone to talk as much shit as you, I would expect a little more than "the future looks great" to back you up. Unfortunately, it seems to be the norm for a lot of ND fans. Doesn't anyone else get sick of that crap?

We dominated, and not just "played", Michigan, along with pounding a Oklahoma State team that was considerably better than Notre Dame. You can't even compare Notre Dame and Ohio State, solely because you happened to defeat Michigan in the same season we did. You want to compare common opponents from last year? We beat Michigan State by a bigger margin, and lost to Purdue by a far smaller margin.

You beat Michigan because your QB played the game of his life, a game that he will NEVER play again! And you lost to a Purdue team that played 90% of the game with it's back-up QB! Keep trying......

Oklahoma State was good??

Also OSU was ahead of MSU by 1 point going into the 4th quarter and MSU played it's back-up QB as well . And if memory serves me correctly ND was the team that took out MSU's starter....

My point is that you guys keep dogging ND when your team was no better..

You beat Michigan because your QB played the game of his life, a game that he will NEVER play again!Ill bet Troy Smith will stay for his senior season and will have a couple more games were he throws for 200+ and runs for 100+ again.

This whole Ohio State team that is so bad is back next year (minus a couple of players).

This bad Ohio State team is ranked in everyones pre season top 10 and could be a top 5 team when all is said and done.

I'm not hearing a whole lot about notre dame.

Face it Chief, your time is up. notre dame just isn't what it used to be and it won't ever be again.:bonk:

So what's the excuse for such a poor showing on the football field? I mean, notre dame is a joke right now. PLEASE put Ohio State on the schedule. I can't tell you how great those two years were when Ohio State absolutely mauled the Irish :box: .

That was even back when notre dame still had everyone fooled into thinking they were a legitimate team :slappy:

our point is our team was and is better. you can sit there and throw your dumb statements out and hide behind the fact that they will never settle it on the field, but you know who was better last year and you know who has been better for a loooooong time now.
