You are talking about guys that haven't been at notre dame in 13-14 years!

That's what you have been reduced to. I assume you are talking about Ricky Watters?

Why not throw the 88 team in there and Joe Montana? Luck of the draw? That's just a weak argument. It must be awful to be an Irish fan right now.

Nick Saben said in 2002 when VY was being recruited that he was the best recieving prospect that he had seen in 5 or 10 years(thats a stout list if you think about the Roy williams, Larry Fitzgerelds, and Charles Rodgers of the world)

If you are speaking of the guy I think you are talking about (ex viking/ex Buckeye) that would be "Cris" Carter.

Doesnt matter when they were drafted what matters was that more of them were good neough to be in the NFL!

First, how is it "the luck of the draw"? You imply that if we had played in any year before 1995, Notre Dame would've kicked our ass. The only year that would be true is 1988, when we went 4-6-1 in our first year under Cooper and the year ND won the national title. Any other year, I like our chances. In fact, Notre Dame was 9-3 and 8-3 in the years we pounded them, so it wasn't like we caught them in "off" years.

Second, as usual you are totally off the subject...no one was talking about "where they were drafted", but rather why Notre Dame sucks despite NFL-level talent.
