I don't know. Buckeye glasses aside, Green didn't get suspended and he flipped Ramsey like a MMA fighter and threw punches. I'd appeal that decision if I were Evans since his actions are arguably less egregious.

My Bengals glasses aside, Green should have been suspended for multiple games because yes, it was more egregious. The NFL has zero consistency. I guess the only thing you could say is that Marshon did zero to provoke that really. In any event, keep killing it Marshon.

Both rulings are based on historical precedent, though - Green, like Andre Johnson vs. Finnegan, did not get an additional suspension. Evans, like OBJ vs. Norman, did.

The Saints are currently ranked 7th in the NFL in total defense and 11th in pass defense after ranking 31st and 32nd in those categories last season. There's a decent argument for Lattimore, as of now, as DPOY for the entire league.

Yep, fellow Bengals fan here. Couldn't believe he got away with that - lack of suspension is a huge gift to Mike Brown in keeping this year's trainwreck from going even further off the rails.

He has a case for DPOY regardless of age, not just rookie. He won't get it, but that's how special he's been so far.
