I know you need a collective unit in the secondary. But to me there needs to be a CB1 in overall performance. Burke was that, and now it will be Mathews. He has been great so far and he will bring along Scott, West, Sanchez, etc.

I always wore #7, easily my favorite out there. Started when I idolized Joe Germaine and Joey Galloway as a kid, then all the way through Gamble, Ginn, just had a very good one in Hancock...list goes on. Mathews has always been one of my favorites since his recruitment, so this is pretty cool. Add to the #7 legacy my guy.

Carry on the tradition. Wear my #7 scarlet jersey for Home games and my gray #8 (Stover) for Away games. Can't wait to see him represent the tradition this year!
