Oregon is out and he is in process of setting tOSU official.
MONTbigBuck;2267347; said:Last night at MGOBLOG their reading of the tea leaves was that because he hadn't talked to the OSU staff following the game; and was still committed, with no Oregon offer, that he was all skunkbear from here forward. Them boys had me convinced that he had just weaseled OSU out of some free football tickets to see MI., and never really had any interest in the Bucks. Well what a difference about 20 hours in the news cycle makes!:)

I don't think I'm letting anything premium out when I say that even Bill Greene admitted to this whole situation being pretty bizarre and having him fooled. Just saying the weasels at MGoBlog weren't the only ones surprised.

ESPN 150 CB Gareon Conley, who expressed strong interest in Oregon while being committed to Michigan, decommitted from the Wolverines on Tuesday.
"Coach [Greg] Mattison was at my school today and we told him [I was decommitting]," Conley told WolverineNation's Tom VanHaaren. "I felt like I did it too early and didn't wait to see what else would come. I like Michigan, but I like other schools too, and I want to visit them."
Whether that opens the door for Oregon is another story. On Monday night, Conley wrote on his Twitter account that the Ducks weren't going to offer him because they wanted a safety.

I keep thinking that CB's hips and quick turns, whereas a safety is more closing speed and hard hitting with someone coming straight at one.....
Bottom line, I would think it's easier to take a CB and turn them into a safety than vice versa, and ergo a good CB is a scarcer commodity. I figure I'm missing something here, based on Oregon's position on Conley, but what am I missing?

Assuming that he signs with the Buckeyes or any other school is there a possibility that he might play WR in college or is he too good of a DB to switch to WR or does a coach just wait until they get him on campus.
