Wow...we've got two GREAT looking corners. Tons of ability, long arms, great closing speed, physical, and get their hips around to see the ball. With Thompson and Bell(?), added to these guys, we would have to have the top secondary class in the country.

If you consider getting Mitchell in at LB and another, then that D line haul...If these kids can live up to the expectations on paper and all show up to the ball...I might use the bathroom when the offense is on the field so I don't miss any three and outs or less on D.

Not to mention lee maning the star! Eli and cam at corner, add grant, Powell and reeves and were adding some good depth at cb.

Bogard may have something to say about that Star position.

I guess I tend to picture bogard more of a S than a star, though he does play both well. Lee does offer the other spectrum of the star, with a LB size and db speed. Either way we're building some elite depth. Woodard and burrows size will be able to hold down the biggest of WRs.

ESPN - CB Eli Woodard honored by fifth star

7/12

After great showings from Eli Woodard (Voorhees, N.J./Eastern) and Ezekiel Elliott (St. Louis/John Burroughs) at The Opening in Beaverton, Ore., last weekend, it wasn?t a matter of if the tandem would fly up the ranks. It was a matter of how much.

Ohio State picked up its first five-star commitment in Woodard and Elliott shot up the charts in the latest ESPN 150 and ESPN 300 rankings, released Thursday.

The Buckeyes have six commitments ranked in the top 150 and 11 in the top 300 among their 14 recruits. They made a move up four spots from No. 9 to No. 5 in the overall rankings. More$...
