Devon sees himself as a DB on the next level. When asked about his favorites list, Devon said tOSU and only tOSU as he is not interested in any other school. He declined an invitation to Michigan's camp.
that interview should make any Buckeye fan happy...

I love it baby, its about time these kids state their feelings like this. I cannot tell you how many times I have read, man I love the U or Florida or Oklahoma or USC. This is what I am talking about!! :oh::io:

Is it me or does he resemble Teddy Ginn in that picture on Bucknuts?

sign him up!.........oh by the way has anyone seen him play? How good is he? I'd assume he's gotta be at least decent to be getting camp offers from scUM.
Ohio High has him as the unquestioned #1 player in the class.

I have seen some film (all at RB, nothing at DB) and he shows excellent speed and cutting ability - he breaks off alot of kid's ankles when he changes directions on them. the competition he plays against isn't the best, so all is relative, but he appears to have excellent athletic ability. Hopefully we can get some film on him as a DB, since it sounds like that's where he sees himself at tOSU.

BTW, I was pleasantly surprised by J'Keem Waters agility and speed as a FB prospect also.

The only problem is he has worked out with the Yankee's and there is a high possibility he will be a first round draft choice in baseball comeing right out of college.

I wish their were more players with the declining of the scum camp attitude though :)

So, Devon, you've been hearing from a lot of schools. Who's on your list?

My list is Ohio State, period.
Devon, you can look back on this single quote, when you're old and gray with grandchildren, and say to yourself "That was the smartest thing I ever said."

Come down to Columbus and put yourself on the Buckeye highlight reel. Your future will be assured.

hey just wondering, but do you mean a first round pick coming out of high school? it would not be that bad if he was a first round pick right out of college since he would still be at tOSU. maybe im missing something

Yea i mean that the next MLB draft there is a decent chance he could be a first round pick. So right out of high school.

The quote i had read was 'During football season he says he loves football the most; during baseball season he'll tell you he loves baseball the most.'

Thats why i'm glad to hear Folanator say that D-wayne says he is football all the way :)
