I was thinking the same thing. As I scrolled down the list from 50 to 1, I was anticipating seeing Chimdi on there so much that I started to think he might be #1 after I'd gotten close to the bottom. When I saw he wasn't on there, I went back and picked out all the shitty names they put on there instead.

Looking forward to having another solid corner coming into camp this summer...Malcolm Jenkins made an impact at corner as a true freshman last year, so hopefully Chimdi can do the same.

I don't think it is a bad thing. It's just his personality. Some people are more reserved than others. A lot of people are more reserved than Malcolm Jenkins.

Plus if he's a quieter humble guy, we probably don't have to worry about him spiking the ball before the endzone on a pick 6 :p

This was just a blurb taken out of several sentences spesific to Chimdi when Coach addressed the DBs. He was saying something along the lines of:

"One young guy that most people don't know about yet, but who has really started to come on strong this Spring is Chimdi Chekwa. He's a really quiet kid, and unless you specifically call on him in the film room you wouldn't even know he was in there, but he must have been paying attention because he's really picked up the D quickly and has really been showing his athleticism on the field in practice."


It wasn't that word for word, but something along those lines.
