Agreed, but it certainly looks like he actually targets the receiver's hands, knowing that this is his best chance to disrupt the play.

Isnt it funny how the best players seem to be "fortunate" and "lucky" more often than most.

Agree that he got burnt, which happens once in a while to every corner. Disagree that he got lucky, he actually closed masterfully and made that play by only watching the receiver (go back and watch it again, very impressive). Making a play like that after getting left behind is what separates him from other corners on our squad. We were very impressed by that play, and it's easy to forget because it wasn't a scoring play, but potential game saver there (don't remember the situation at all), just as much as any deflection or TFL.

I was surprised to hear there was a real chance he was leaving as a sophomore. Very glad to have him, and another year of college ball will benefit his development, too.
