New Top247 Ranking: No. 36
Previous: No. 243

Knocking on the door of 5-star status and seeing quite the ascension in his ranking in this Top247 update, 4-star Aaron Scott emerged as one of the best man-to-man cover corners in the country.
A silky mover with hips that can move on a string, the 6-foot corner possesses many of the sought after traits that are desired at the cornerback position. Although his top end speed has come into question at times, Scott has shown the ability to overcompensate for that with his intuitiveness as a defender in pass coverage. He displays a keen ability to position himself and consistently make life difficult for opposing targets.
Recording five interceptions as a junior, Scott’s ball skills should be lauded as a strength of his game. A versatile defensive back with excellent positional value and backend flexibility, Scott’s football instincts and versatility make him one of the highest floor prospects in the cycle.

Walton needs to lock him down

I hear that. Xichigan board says he's a 'Xichigan lean' but that's merely a writer talking to achieve readership. Haven't seen any sort of quote from him, but that's neither here nor there. And the coaches aren't talking.....don't blame the kid for playing his cards close to the vest, I would as well. Take your visits, make certain that you've explored everything, and then commit to the Buckeyes. Simple. Go Bucks!
