I don't suppose that counts as a game winning shot for Lebron does it? I'll give it to him if it will stop all the writers from saying he has never hit a game winning shot.

CLEVELAND - Their 10-point lead was gone. Their will to pull out a win was not.
LeBron James took charge with a go-ahead driving layup. He took charge with a great pass to a wide-open Donyell Marshall for a dunk.
And Anderson Varejao took a charge, period.
Three well-executed plays during the final 18.1 seconds helped the Cavaliers hold off Milwaukee, 89-86, on Monday at The Q. Head Coach Mike Brown’s team stopped a two-game losing streak and won the season series from the Bucks, a feat that may be significant in a few months when the playoff picture clears.
Milwaukee ran off 11 straight points to lead, 86-85, before the Cavaliers came back to win a game they appeared to have well in hand minutes earlier.
“We didn’t get down on ourselves,” James said. “We just wasn’t executing down the stretch like we usually do. We knew we could get a bucket. We got defensive stops and got the win.”
T.J. Ford’s jumper with 30.9 seconds left gave the Bucks the lead. With James, Varejao and Marshall on the court, there still was plenty of time for the Cavaliers to turn things around.
James made the first move with his driving layup that put the Cavs on top, 87-86.
“I knew I had to be aggressive,” James said. “What allowed me to get to the bucket so easily was that Donyell was in the strong corner, and I knew (Milwaukee’s) Andrew Bogut wasn’t going to help off him. I gave Donyell a fake pass, Andrew bit on it and I was able to get the ball up and get it in.”
It was Varejao’s turn on Milwaukee’s next possession. Michael Redd was met by Varejao as he drove the lane and pushed off with his right hand, knocking Varejao to the floor. It was the third offensive foul Varejao drew.
“I just had good position at the time,” Varejao said. “I put my body in front of him and took the charge.
“I just did what the coach said. I play with energy all the time and just try to be in good position. When they penetrate, I try to take the charge.”
Redd saw things differently.
“I thought it was nothing,” Redd said. “I thought nothing should have been called. That’s my opinion.
“I spinned off (Varejao), and the referee saw it the other way. It didn’t go my way.”
The Bucks tried to foul James after he took the inbounds pass. But James quickly spotted Marshall for an open dunk and an 89-86 lead.
James prevented Milwaukee from attempting a tying 3-pointer when he fouled Charlie Bell with 3.8 seconds left. Bell missed the first free throw and intentionally missed the second. The Cavaliers’ Eric Snow grabbed the rebound and ran out the clock.
“It was great to see our guys fight and come up with a win,” Brown said.
James fell a rebound shy of a triple-double, finishing with 22 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.
Drew Gooden and Sasha Pavlovic added 15 points apiece for the Cavaliers. Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 13 points, and Varejao finished with a season-high 9 points and five rebounds. “Andy had a tremendous game,” James said. “He had 9 points, five rebounds and (took) 25 charges. That was excellent tonight. Awesome.” Reach Repository sports writer Mike Popovich at (330) 580-8341 or e-mail: [email protected]

Who doesn't love the Wild Thing? This guy comes out and plays hard every night. I know we say it all the time in sports, but you just wish you could give his heart to Drew Gooden. But I think, in the end, AV will just go ahead and develop the skills to be a starter on this team eventually anyway.
The Cavs now have the tiebreaker with the Pacers and Bucks. That will be nice if the playoff race gets tight like it did last year.
BTW Wild Thing took 3 charges!!! That's crazy.
There was none bigger than that final one that he took against Redd tho.
I think that Gooden has really improved this year, but he still gets outplayed by the bigger guys. Much like Webber took it to him on Saturday.
