Cavs 2010-11 season (official thread)

For those with morbid curiosity and an eye for history, here are the worst records of all time:

Code:
Philadelphia 76ers	9-73	1972-73
Dallas Mavericks	11-71	1992-93
Denver Nuggets 11-71	1997-98
Los Angeles Clippers	12-70	1986-87
New Jersey Nets 12-70	2009-10

Worst record in franchise history is 15-67, which the Cavs did in 1981-82 and previously in 1970-71.

The Cavs are 8-42, which projects to a 15-16 win season. I am not sure I see a way to come up with seven more wins with what's been going on with this team. :(

Longest losing streak ever :slappy:

I don't even know what term to use to describe this team. awful and terrible aren't enough, a new word needs to be formed for the 10-11 Cavs

Only tied the streak so far, but will likely own it in a couple more hours.

The Cleveland Cadavers are back.

Dirk just took a swing at Sessions and missed.

No foul called on it of course.

Then Rick Carlisle (who i have never had a problem with and respected as a coach) was on the floor crying that Sessions swung at Dirk?

Unbelievable. 24 game losing streak and the NBA officials take a double shit on you.

When they review it I would be shocked if Dirk wasn't suspended.

They might never win another game. I guess being the Washington Generals of the nba must have some charm.

Speaking of Washington, as it stands now, that's 0-25 on the road versus 0-25 in their last 25...SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE

The Cavs' next 8 games are at home, including games against Detroit, LA (Clippers), Philadelphia, and Washington. I suspect they'll end the streak somewhere in that home stand. Not that it matters.

ya im thinking that as well...they are actually playing alot better in the past 3-4 games then they have for awhile...but they still have too many turnovers and in the crunch time of a game, no one knows what to do as evident last night with jamario moon and the JJ hickson charge plays before that...if sullinger comes out this year and enters the NBA draft im actually hoping he doesnt have to come to cleveland...i like sullinger alot and i would hate for him to have the burden of carrying the cavs franchise

the cavs finally got over feeling sorry for themselves after that miami game in december and started playing like they cared. the only problem is that the only two guys remotely talented have been hurt for basically the entire stretch, and one of their key bench guys has missed time off and on. cleveland simply doesn't have the horses to keep up. they need a legit big man in the worst way.
