Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

Wow. From a true inside the look game, how can you not watch this game and think the Cavs are easily the best team in the league?? To play that poorly and come so close to winning against the second best team in the West is impressive. The Cavs had no business being close, especially with the free-throw shooting and they damn near won the game. Unbelivable.

They worked hurt players back into the line-up, used a new rotation in the absence of Z, and played in foul trouble all night, and still alomost won a game they played God-awful in. This team is going to the finals....no doubt about it. Let's hope Antawn fits in well, and can provide an extra spark come playoff time. At the very least he'll hit 80% of his free-throws. Certainly better than any other big we have...

Title > Z

That's my feeling on the subject. I'm sure he understands, and I'm sure he'd tell them to trade him if it meant Cleveland would get the title. I want him back too - but I think the Cavs are looking out for their best interests (aka winning a title).

You're right.

I know I got a little "emotional" last night, and in no way would ever wish the team to "not" win a title. I guess that it's just so rare in this day and age to see a player like "Z" and what he's meant to the team and the community. And wanting him back isn't just for what he's done in the past. The man still has game, and would love to have his minutes back in time for the playoffs.

Peace
