Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

Cavs definitely looking better this year than they did in the playoffs last year. Looks like Shaq's primary job is to get fouls on Howard. He limited him to 2:18 in the first quarter with 2 fouls. Howard back in to start the 2nd with Z and Andy doubling him every time he touches the ball. I don't really fear Redick and Williams like the guys the Magic had in this spring so the double is good. With the Cavs rotation their second unit is stronger than Orlando's.
Need to pick up the defense in general. 3 fouls on Howard with 10 left in the 2nd.

The offensive is back!!

Keep this up and its gonna be a great post-season. Van Gundy crying like a little bitch still makes me smile though :)

Which Van Gundy are you referring to? The one the looks like Ron Jeremy or the little ankle biter that thinks there shouldn't be a foul limit in the NBA so Dwight Howard, can hack, push, charge and hip check for a full 48 minutes a night?

Shit if Mo had had a couple games like this in the playoffs the Cavs might have made the Finals. It will be interesting to see how these games go when both teams are at full strength. I never would have thought that both coaches would decide to go big as much as they did tonight. I thought this would have been a game for the Cavs to go small a lot.

Key stat tonight when Shaq and Howard were guarding each other Shaq had 10 pts and Howard had 1. Shaq's ability to guard Howard 1 on 1 is the main reason that they traded for him.
I like JJ getting some minutes the more he plays the better it will be for this team. Andy will get his minutes off the bench, but JJ can be more of a force getting minutes as the starter. Once the game slows down for him look for him to start hitting shots. He has the potential to be a great pairing with Shaq since he does have a nice shot when he's calm.
