Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

I have DirecTV and currently have the sports package, so I get FSOH and STO in South Carolina, but the Indians games get blacked out. I get a bunch of college football games but not pro games, will the same hold true for the Cavs/NBA games? Will they all be blacked out and make me buy the league pass?

yes

there wouldnt be much of a point in companies carrying those league pass type packages if you could just get all the FSNs with no blackouts

Luckily the Cavs have a lot of nationally televised games and also DirecTV provides a free preview of NBA League Pass for a week at the beginning of the season and then again usually around sometime in January so there's another five games or so you'll have access to.

Yeah, I saw there was 20 or so nationally televised games, that's cool.
