Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

Cavs did not have their A game tonight especially on the defensive end.( Albeit I was flipping between draft and Cavs game) Took the Bulls #2 and #3 scoring options to play lights out to beat us so not real worried about this. Plus, sweeping a team isn't always a good thing rest wise(too much).

I don't blame Parker at all. He had to take that shot. If he passes it you're taking a 3/4 court shot instead of a halfcourt shot - if you don't turn it over.

The Bulls missing the second free throw was the worst thing that could've happened to the Cavs in that situation.

It's irrelevant b/c the chances of making a half court shot are minimal anyways. But Anthony committed himself to taking the shot as soon as he grabbed the rebound and immediately put his eyes to the floor and began to dribble. IMO, you have to get that board, find LeBron streaking upcourt and get the ball in his hands.

That's all.

The game really shouldn't have even come to this. I hate sounding like a bitch, especially as bad as the defense was tonight, but the NBA got what it wanted. Just an embarrassing evening for the officials..but who cares, right? It comes with the territory as an NBA fan. Easiest game of all major sports to dictate with the whistle. It was obvious 15 seconds in...I'm not joking either.

Cavs win with decent officiating.

Check his comments on the Cavs talking to Stu Jackson who oversees the leagues officiating.

I think this is bullshit. Chicago had no reason to cry about not getting calls, yet they did and it paid off big time.

Then we get fucked, and we are calm about it.

We should put the pressure back on the refs to call it at least fair. Cleveland is the only team that has been fucked by the refs this series.

FTA: Just for fun, Joakim Noah threw in one more "Cleveland sucks."

I want really bad things to happen to that transvestite clown.

Eh. It is what it is. Let's be honest...no matter the series the NBA can still dictate whatever they want to happen through officials. All it takes is some random fouls to stop momentum, a few ticky-tack fouls on a #2 or #3 player, etc. It is what it is....seriously. If you like the NBA you have to accept the fact that games and series will be affected by officiating. Tonight was a complete joke....deal with it.

For as much as I don't like seeing the Cavs lose, looking at the bigger picture I wanted this series to go to 5 or 6 games. I still think the Cavs were affected by the layoffs that came with sweeping the first two series last year, and this gets at least one more game for Shaq to prepare for later rounds.
