Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

Remember when we were all kinda hoping Villanueva would sign with the Cavs? I've hardly noticed him.

His next tweet should be "I fucked up". Cavs are better off for him taking the money in Detroit. Jamison is a better player and it would have taken the whole MLE for CV so no Parker, Moon, or Powe.

I'm watching the interview of Mike Brown. Some dickhead reporter just put him on the spot by asking, "Do you think the tide turned when Stuckey went out?"

Even if it had, what the hell is he supposed to say? Nevermind that at the time it happened, the Pistons lead had gone from 21 to 5. The tide had turned long before that unfortunate incident.

antawn struggled with his shot early, but got hot when it counted.

AV is just a flat out monster.

Last night was another bump in the growth of Hickson, but a necessary one.

Mo Williams was absolutely horrible, again. His shot was terrible and his defense was worse. It wasn't surprising that Mo only played about 3 minutes in the 4th with Delonte getting the rest of the burn. Mo seemed like he was pouting about it as well.

Snuggie night, Mike Brown's 40th and the first night of a back to back = piss poor effort for 2+ quarters.

Lakers got absolutely ran by the Bobcats tonight. It was like an entire game of what the cavs looked like for the first 1.5 quarters. I really hope Cleveland doesn't get the Bobcats in the 1st round.

Cavs with a 3 game lead for best NBA record, with the Bucks tonight, while LA gets the Magic on Sunday.

Mo is full of suck tonight and Parker isn't far behind. West and Jamison are keeping them in the game, but they need more guys to step up. JJ can't handle bigger players at C. They tried Jackson at C to help keep Andy out of foul trouble.

I can't see resting the franchise without necessity. Let's hope letting this game slide away doesn't come back and bite the Cavs in their positioning for home court with the Lakers.

They said last night that Brown might rest him again against the Spurs since they have 3 off days after that. I hope not. Lebron is to the Cavs what Manning is to the Colts. The Cavs aren't a bad team without Lebron, but they need a team effort to win without Lebron. Jamison and West playing great isn't good enough. Mo needs to get his shit together and someone else needs to step up. We might get to see the Hickson/Blair matchup that everyone is calling for Monday.

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker leaves with broken bone in hand - ESPN

If LBJ is out, this injury may even the playing field a slight...
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- San Antonio guard Tony Parker left Saturday night's game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a broken bone in his right hand and could miss six weeks.
Parker broke the fourth metacarpal -- the bone between the bottom knuckle and the wrist -- near the end of the first half and did not return to the game. The injury apparently occurred during a scramble for the ball.

The Spurs are decidedly better with Tony Parker, posting a .620 win percentage when the speedy guard is in the lineup.

With Parker Without W-L 31-9 5-5 PPG 100.5 102.4 Opp PPG 95.4 101.9
