Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

The #1 Seed in the East is HUGE right now. Avoid the second and third seed matchup in the semis AND home-court advantage in the conference finals. The Cavs need to put some distance between themselves and the Celtics/Magic over the next couple of weeks.

Well Boston doesn't seem to be losing any steam without Garnett...

They beat the Suns by 20, which I kinda chalked up to the face that Rando actually made multiple jump shots in the game and the Suns were without Amare, but tonight they are beating Denver in Denver by 20+...

We have a very tough week coming up...Houston and San Antonio Thurs/Fri...Then we have a back to back Monday/Tuesday as well...

Those back to back games are bullshit. They have 28 games left and half of them are one end of a back to back. Of those 14 games, only 3 are at home. Who's the dumbass that made the schedule? Here are the back to back games remaining:
@Houston, @San Antonio
@Atl, @ Miami
@Boston, vs Miami
@Phoenix, @ Sacramento
v Atlanta, @ N.J.
@Wash, A Orlando
v Boston, @ Indiana

I realize every teams has to play them but they have already played 12 pairs of b2b games for a total of 19 for the season. That's alot, especially given the fact that Boston only has 2 more b2b the rest of the way and a total of 15 for the year. You would think the NBA could do a little better on the scheduling.

I guess it's not a surprise considering how screwd up their playoff scheduling can be. Dickheads.

I agree about you point on the playoffs...I know it is TV, but there are so many games being played back to back in the regular season, but they wont do it in the playoffs...I wish they would go b2b of b2b then 1-1-1...

damn, Yao just flushed it on LeBron with the foul. That will be shown all night.

LeBron with 4 fouls (2 of which came on Dukie Battier flops).

Delonte is having an awful night, coupled with Mo playing very average.

Just a terrible night so far.

Cavs just aren't shooting that well from the perimeter tonight. Houston is playing the saggiest defense I have seen an NBA team play. They are abolutely giving up the outside shot.

Just one of those nights....hopefully someone can get hot.

What a boring game overall.

A lot of standing around. No crowd. No atmosphere. LeBron missing large chunks because of fouls. Missed shots.

Is there anything else on?
