Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

If the Cavs play on D keeps up tonight and they pull through, how do you see the Cavaliers finishing out 2008? 9 games remain including tonight..

Tonight: Philly
Tomorrow: @ Atlanta
Wednesday Dec. 17th: @ Minnesota
Friday Dec. 19th: @ Denver
Sunday Dec. 21st: @ Oklahoma City
Tuesday Dec. 23rd: Houston
Thursday Dec. 25th: Washington
Sunday Dec. 28th: Miami
Tuesday Dec. 30th: @ Miami

I see wins in all of the games except Denver, making the Cavs a possible 27-4, that's impressive!

I think we go 27-4 loss coming to Houston. Never play particularly well against the Rockets.

I guess after 23 games, we can't ever compare this team to last years or any of the recent teams. I'm just amazed how well EVERYONE on that team plays defense. Third quarter problems ? Not anymore. That demon has been exorcised. Their passing is all great, too.

Andy has shown all season, not just tonight, that he's more than capable of filling in for Z.

I'll be conservative and say they go 7-2 the rest of the year, but if they continue to play all around like they have been, it really would not suprise me if they won all 9 games. OIther than tomorrow night, none of the games are back to backs. The 2 hardest games fall directly after the 2 easiest games: At Minnesota before Denver and at Ok City before Houston. The starters should be well rested after both games because those 2 games are both Kinsey special's: he be getting pt.

I could less about Boston at this point. It's just nice to have a 7 game division lead on Detroit this early in the season.

These can now be called Jawad specials since Z went down.

yeah they are struggling a little tonight, but hopefully they get it together in the second half...

BTW I don't see us losing to Houston if Z is back...We will be at home...We play great at home...

I think we come back tonight and I see the loss coming in the second game in Miami...We have just played them and we are going on the road for first time after christmas and right before new years eve...tough spot for a road team, and Wade is playing very well...
