I still think once we get Boobie back we are going to be very dangerous...
Keep hearing people talking about the trade, not only here, but just about everyone I talk to, and I continue to like it...We didn't lose the core guys in LBJ, Z, Sasha, Wild Thing, and Boobie...
Now we actually have a guy that is a point guard first, and has a solid shot, and can create and pass some..
We add a guy in Wallace and while he might be down in terms of athleticism and where he was at in the peak of his career, but still brings toughness and ability to be an enforcer, and along with Z and Wild Thing not many teams are going to dominate us in the paint...
Wally has struggled, and if he continues to struggle his minutes will be cut like they were tonight to only 9, if he starts getting hot he is just going to be a huge asset...Either way we have Sasha, Boobie, Devin Brown, DJ and West to man the guard spots so Wally isn't really needed to play 40 minutes a game...Just adds depth...Wally or Ira?
Joe Smith has been a pleasant surprise...Honestly we are getting a lot more than I expected and with him we have 4 guys in the paint that can all be counted on...2 offensive guys in Z and Smith and 2 defensive guys in the Wallace and Wild Thing...
Either way we lost Hughes who said he didn't want to play here and Gooden, who while better offensively than Wild Thing and Wallace combined...Had the mental capacity of a 2 year old and couldn't defend very well against bigger post guys...

At some point guys like Joe Smith and Ben Wallace need to get their heads out of their rear ends and be ready to receive passes. Too many turnovers going off of people's hands on good passes.
