I really hope that Gibson continues to get a lot of playing time. I like the idea of starting him over Hughes although I don't know know if Hughes would go for it. IMO he would go in the tank if he got benched. Perhaps this injury will allow him to get less PT. I love Lebron having Pavs and Gibson to kick the ball out to. This is the future of the team. The biggest improvement between this year and next will have to be with Gibson and Shannon Brown.

Perfect analysis imo. Gibson gives them the outside shooter they havent had consistently and like LBJ says he's a good defender which means we don't automatically lose on the other end due his defense. I'm looking for Varejo to come up big in this next game. Its when the opponents start to tire that his energy coming off the bench really pushes this Cav's team. I say we get game 4 and tie it up, after that though will have to wait and see.

I don't see a switch like not starting Hughes this late in the season, that would just kill everything IMO...

Hughes has been doing a great job defensively, and he started the game off good last night before his injury...

I do agree that I want to see more Boobie tho, and he showed that he was clutch down the stretch...

The only thing about playing Boobie and Sasha is that puts LBJ as the point forward as they don't seem to want to have Boobie bringing the ball up much for whatever reason, and this doesnt allow him to get out and run...

Also one other thing that I would like to see more of and we saw at the very beginning of this past game was LBJ getting the rebound and starting the break...They can't beat these guys up and down the court, and it will also wear them out some, even if you just do it to then pull it out...It will work to our advantage for us to get LBJ in the open court and get some lanes to the hole and some easy dunks, and also tire Detroit...

I guess Hughes is out for game 4...

This is either a good thing(offensively speaking) allowing Gibson more minutes because he's been more consistent offensively, or it will be a bad thing(defensively speaking) allowing one of Billups or Hamilton to go off a little bit because Gibson and the other bench players aren't accustamed to playing a full game of such intense defense, thus making them more susceptible to defensive lapses.

I think it will be a good thing. I want to see what Gibson looks like in 30-40 minutes. Maybe Brown will give Newble a shot at some backup minutes to see if he can recapture the stretch of games this season where he was shooting well. Otherwise hopefully Jones can pick it up. The only bad thing is that it means Snow will probably get some minutes, especially if Gibson struggles.

I imagine he's just not dressing. He hasn't shown anything this seasons to where I'd give him a single minute in the playoffs outside of garbage time in a blowout.

I thought that he played well when he was in there at times, but he did fight a couple injuries during the season...I think that he will be a very big cog for this team next year...

I haven't watched him play since MSU, but if this cleveland backcourt keeps him off the floor next year, that's pretty surprising.

I agree, I thought he should of seen more time this year and it seems like the announcers and such that get to watch practices are always talking about the plays that he makes during the scrimmages...

I definitely see him being important next year(probably the third SG on the team after Sasha and Hughes) along with Gibson(hopefully the backup PG assuming we get a good veteran this offseason).

I was just saying I don't think he's done anything this year to warrant important playoff minutes.
