Cam Newton (QB New England Patriots)

Tim Tebow, Dan LeFevour, Colin Kaepernick

Correct. It was somewhat of a trick question, since almost all college football fans heard the SEC announcing team say that Cam joined Tebow as the only guys ever to run for 20 and throw for 20.

But Kaepernick joined the club later that night, and a couple years back LeFevour ran for 19 and caught 1, so he scored 20, but didn't "rush for 20".

yoyoin - I wasn't giving you grief for your guess, I was just trying to save you a waste of time finding an article that said what CBS said Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately I don't believe this gets resolved until after all the money is made by the NCAA and conferences.....therefore I've become one of the biggest Oregon Duck fans out there. I have no sympathy for Auburn fans at this point and don't want them to even taste a National Championship even if it's stripped away down the road. This whole thing makes me sick. Go Ducks!!!!!!

It's done the opposite for me, I'm now rooting for Auburn to win so that it can be pryed from their hands down the road.

Best of both worlds.. no NC for Oregon or Auburn.

I'd just rather they don't even get to enjoy it for even one night....and when I say "they" I mean the Auburn coaches, players, fans, the conference, "the conference fan", etc. I'd love for them to get beat down and then also get the hammer when it comes.

I can't find it anywhere online, but I was listening to common prick and the douche in the car and they said that six Heisman voters have come out today and said Cam didn't even make their ballot.

I think there will be more of this than people expect. Were Newton not coming along in the wake of Bush he might slip through. But these voters know who to talk to to find out if there is fire underneath all that smoke. And when it comes to how they cast their ballot "once-bitten" may trump "due process".

And oh what a hue and cry will come from the South if sCam is slighted.

I may actually watch the show this year.

Don't get too committed. One of these days someone is going to start poking their nose into the connection between Oregon athletics and the Knight in Money Bag Armor.

No no no...I'll just be pulling for Oregon in this game against Auburn. After that, to hell with them.

I love a good what if statement that shows my scarlet glasss:

What if Terrelle Pryor was on the hook for ncca sanctions and getting extra benefits in the hundreds and thousands of dollars. Then he was seen on the sideline of a big game acting like 6 year old. Would he be considered a "great kid" and just an "outgoing personality" or would he get crucified by the media for his lack of understanding what situation he was in and the drama that he put his team through during this integral part of the season?

Trick question.

Had this been Terrelle Pryor and Ohio State, Pryor would have been on the pine at the first sign his eligibility was in question. There he would have remained until the issue was settled.

And... while I think that's a comment on Ohio State's character - I would also note, it's also what has ALWAYS occurred prior to this Barner situation (to my knowledge) at every other school.

I agree with htis 100% It was just so irratating the way every commentator treated him this past weekend. Just remember Tirico during the Alamo bowl.....while Troy was actually suspended and you will get where I am coming from.

I pretty much only remember this - which was spoken at the halftime studio crew:

Mark May: Jim Tressel should be fired.

So you admit that your guy would be on the pine and not helping out at the crippled children's home like Cam does.... :shake:
