There is truth to it, but I cannot say what this patch will do.

I just finished the single player last night. EPIC!! I can see myself playing through the campaign multiple times - it's that good. Short, but good. The action never stops and the story is great.

Infinity Ward has announced it is already working on an update for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Straight from the horse's mouth:

Wanted to give you a heads up for an update in the works for the Xbox 360 version. We're going to be optimizing a lot of things behind the scenes with matchmaking and host selection as well as adding a few new features via the update which I have outlined below. No ETA on when this update will be available for download, just giving a heads up on what's to come in the future in the first potential update:

Additions / New Features:


  • Added Kill cam to Airstrike bombs and Claymores
  • Addition of Host Migration so if Host Leaves auto-chooses next best host
Tweaked the following Oldschool Mode settings based on feedback:


  • Added Unlimited Sprint
  • Increased Magazine Size
  • Added Ragdoll Cam
Optimizations / Tweaks:


  • Identify party by background color (in Lobby)
  • Optimized server selection for first match for better connections
  • Improved network performance for 18 player games
  • Optimized 'Chase Cam' when Spectating
  • Fixed Playlist error when attempting to join from other games
  • Handle Corrupt Create A Class data instead of kicking player

Vince (gamertag: housebroken) and I (Bryant) both play and really enjoy this. He's mostly in team deathmatch, I tend to stick to domination (if that's the one with the capturing and defense of flags bit), but if you see either of us on (we share a single copy), feel free to join in.

He just went prestige, so he's back to the early weapons. Sucker.

I am not doing Prestige...yet. I worked hard to complete most of those obscure challenges.

Halo 3 is the third best online shooter this year, at best. Team Fortress 2 and COD4 are both far superior. Halo 3 is just boring now, I regret buying it.

Update looks like it has some nice things going. Unlimited sprint would be nice in all modes. I still find it hard to believe that a Marine can't sprint more than 5 yards before getting tired and having to slow. :tongue2:

If anyone wants to add me on 360, the gamer tag is Godfather8907... I can't get enough of the Multi Player... It's by far the best out right now!
