Caleb Williams (Cry Baby, Painter of Nails)

I watched quite a few Bears games this year. Fields had no time with that O-Line. It was three-step-drop and bail. Hardly a chance of going to the second or third receiver option. I'm sure Williams could do a lot better.

Agree. Get him an OL. He's spent three years with literally no opportunity to get better on his check downs. The best receivers in the world won't help until he gets an OL. Good luck, Caleb. I won't be rooting for you but will rather be rooting for the Bears franchise to burn. And Caleb isn't Justin Fields. He's not the team player and good soldier. Caleb is a prima donna and a crybaby, and if he thinks the franchise is doing him wrong, he'll be the one with the gas can.

Caleb Williams’s Camp Refutes Colin Cowherd’s Anti-Bears Narrative

USC quarterback Caleb Williams is seen by most prognosticators as the top quarterback on the board in April’s NFL draft and with the Chicago Bears holding the first pick, there’s a distinct possibility that he could end up in the Windy City.

So it’s no surprise that Williams’s camp went out of its way to squash a narrative that was started by Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports, which indicated that Williams had no interest in playing football in Chicago.

“I do not think it’s possible that Washington trades up and Chicago allows Washington to trade up because Caleb and his group do not want to go to Chicago,” Cowherd said on The Herd on Thursday.

Immediately after Cowherd made those comments, Williams’s camp pushed back on the Fox Sports host’s reporting. Cowherd walked back his comments during his show on Friday.

“I got a call from the Caleb Williams camp and they went, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Colin, we don’t want to be painted as anti-Chicago and we don’t want to be painted as anti-Bear,’” he said. “And they made it clear to me that they said, ‘Listen, we don’t want to go to a city that doesn’t care.’ Chicago cares…they’re big, loud, they’re passionate. They fire coaches all the time… and they did say there’s a path to succeed in Chicago.”
