Book it.Nothing would please me more than to see Fields go somewhere else and thrive while Williams comes to Chicago and burns down the franchise.

108 years. It was a reallllllllllly long wait.Perfect for Chicago. Sorry bear fans. Own it. It took how long for the cubs to win again? Same.
That's exactly what will happen, and I am fine with it as a huge fan of JF. It was tough to see him have no chance out there and still get blamed for their offensive failures...I am much happier watching Williams shoulder that blame and seeing JF get a chance with a real team. I don't like or dislike the Bears and don't really even care about their team, but that is reality from the games I have watched.Nothing would please me more than to see Fields go somewhere else and thrive while Williams comes to Chicago and burns down the franchise.
As an owner of a frenchie myself I agree with this statement. That's exactly what will happen, and I am fine with it as a huge fan of JF. Williams is indeed a diva and I would not want my team to even be looking at taking him. JF is the dude that fought for a season during COVID hysteria, stayed inside except to practice and got a Frenchie named Uno to keep him company, took a targeting hit from Skowlski that cracked ribs and came in the next play to sling a TD and just murdered Clemson, and then played as well as he could in the Natty game. Tell me who you want as your leader and with a straight face say Caleb Williams...if the Bears can do that, they deserve what they get.
even back then Olympic athletes were allowed to have NIL dealsBruce actually won championships as an amateur athlete
IIRC, Jeremy Bloom, he returned punts and played in the league briefly.even back then Olympic athletes were allowed to have NIL deals
does making money from advertisers make one a pro rather than an amateur?
that all depends on your definition of those words
the odd thing to me is that the ioc came to one conclusion and the ncaa came to another and our society ended up applying one definition for college athletes and another for Olympic athletes without the slightest cognitive dissonance
not going to bother looking it up, but a few decades ago there was a kicker from Colorado who got in trouble for a NIL deal. The weird thing was, the NIL deal was entirely based on his fame as an Olympic skier. The ioc didn’t care, the ncaa, governing the sport in which his name, image, and likeness were practically unknown, had kittens.
