At the tOSU team camp this weekend, Mullens went up against another Buckeye verbal, Dallas Lauderdale and held his own, scoring 24 points in a losing effort. Also, Mullens went up against Kosta Koufos later in the day in another losing effort, reportedly having his hands full on the defensive end against Koufos.

I know I've said this before but I was little concerned about whether or not Mullens was a bit of a reach, being offered before his freshman season and all. Obviously though, this was just foreshadowing for the future, as Thad has obviously been able to identify which players he wants early on in the process and get them on board long before they are ready to enroll at OSU. It would not shock me to see a commit in the '09 class before the end of the year.

does he say the total # of players and what type of h.s. classes
Still though, amazing .

You've got three basketball camps, with around 150 at each camp. The majority of those are 07's and 08's, with a couple of 09's. To be named to the top 10 at any of these camps is easily the equivalent of saying that one is top 50 in the country, regardless of class.

Everything sounds really good for the Buckeyes from these camps, and BJ is obviously working hard to maintain his status as an elite center prospect.
