While a few of these teams have had very good defenses, the Irish offense doesn't have much of a passing game to speak of. Along those lines they've struggled in the red zone. I expected Stanford to win last week, however it just delayed the inevitable. This offense won't get past Oklahoma next week.

Can't knock ND for the close wins though. Winning close repeatedly isn't a weakness, it's a strength.
