Buckeyes from your hometown/HS

Chuck Hunter actually held the national career record for TD's coming out of HS with 59. Now kids score that in a season! Crazy! Chuck was an interesting player. Excellent speed for a guy his size 6'2" 220+ but not really "explosive". Great hands. He just never really fit into a particular spot. Although, he did catch the winning TD pass vs. UM in '79 capping our undefeated season. We were in camp together with Miami in '80. They tried him at RB and he almost made the freaking team! Chuck is QUALITY people. Very easy going guy:) . I think he's back in Delaware.
Not true. Hubert Bobo had more than twice that.

Most TD's Scored-Career
123-Hubert Bobo, Chauncey-Dover (1949-1952)
121-Richard Hall, Cincinnati Wyoming (1995-1998)
117-Ryan Brewer, Troy (1995-1998)
117-Tyrell Sutton, Archbishop Hoban (2001-2004)
For future reference, check out my thread on the HS school board and the All Time Ohio HS records. This is just for Ohio, but its more than twice what you said Hunter had.

And if you were talking about just rushing, Bobo still had twice as much as Hunter.

Rushing TD's-Career
118-Hubert Bobo, Chauncey-Dover (1949-1952)
112-Tyrell Sutton, Archbishop Hoban (2001-2004)
109-Ryan Brewer, Troy (1995-1998)

Fremont Ross Little Giants:

LB Bob Brudzinski (played several seasons in NFL with Rams & Dolphins)
LB Derek Isaman (could have probably played in the league but tried Boxing instead)

From the nearby Clyde Fliers now with the Buffalo Bills DT Tim Anderson

Other notables from Ross:

scUMmers RB Rob Lytle (Broncos) and CB Charles Woodson (oh how the 90's could have been different if only he had come to the Buckeyes instead).

Boilermaker QB and punter Shawn McCarthy (Punted briefly with the Patriots I think)

Brand new Toledo Rocket QB Aaron Opelt

Thomas Worthington is the old Worthington High School. (Except when I went to high school all the freshmen went to a separate school called Kilbourne (like the new HS) that was at 161 and a block past High). The first year of Thomas Worthington was the 1991-1992 school year - though the seniors all stayed at Thomas and didn't split that year, pretty much. . .

Worthington has gone downhill ever since. . . :P

Another from Worthington:
Going back to the late late 70's early 80's
Bob Atha Kicker
Set Buckeye all-time single game record with 5 FGs (vs Corso's Hoosiers '81)
Made a 53-yarder (vs Purdue '81)
Also got a few plays as wide receiver
