Great posts that I saw on Rivals message board:

If there's one thing I've learned the last few weeks, scouring message boards of opposing teams (its like crack after a big win), it's that there are fans in every fan base that want people fired after losing a big game. Its pretty embarrassing. And then a week, or two, or three pass by, and maybe things aren't as bad as you thought. I'll try to be better next time. Go look at some of the Tennessee boards tonight. They realized maybe things weren't as bad as they initially thought. A lot of this reckoning is happening. Same will be said for Oregon. Let's hope there's a couple more that can be added to that list. Go Bucks.
This thread is proof that I am glad emotional fans do not run OSU’s athletic department.

This is just crazy to consider:bonk:

2006 (Florida), 2007 (LSU), 2016 (Clemson), and 2020 (Alabama)

OSU was clearly the worse team in their final game. Maybe if there wasn't such a long layoff in 2006 things could have been different. But I doubt it.

2012 (Alabama)

OSU went undefeated and would have played Notre Dame for the title that year if they were allowed. Probably would have won. If they played Bama they probably would have lost in a blowout, they just didn't have the talent yet to hang with them.

2013 (Florida State), 2019 (LSU)

OSU would have had a shot if they didn't slip up (in 2019 they also were fighting the refs). But FSU and LSU were great teams and would have been a hell of a challenge in those respective years. The same could be said of the 2015 team, which for some reason is not on the list above (Bama won the title that year).

2022 (Georgia)

If Marv doesn't get knocked out OSU would have been national champions that year.
