Buckeye b'ballers you may have forgotten

Time to continue this sweet thread with the Top former Buckeye plays of November 2010. Featuring Buckeyes Mike Conley Jr., Othello Hunter, Ron Lewis, Scoonie Penn, Evan Turner, Je'Kel Foster, and Kosta Koufos. All had some great moments last month.

(Mike Conley Jr. is reaching new heights as far as Buckeye point guards go.)

This guy. Drafted by the Washington Redskins in football and the Cincinnati Royals in basketball. Went on to dental school at Ohio State and later was a dentistry professor at Pittsburgh. Now in private practice.

After reading through this thread, I have to admit that I remember all these guys back to the Jim Smith, Carter Scott, Kelvin Ramsey, Herb Williams team that lost in the tourney, then brought in Clark Kellogg as a frosh and mega-under-performed (Ransey was the glue and graduated) My point being, after some of the names listed, and enduring Eldon Miller, a brief respite of potential excellence with Gary Williams, and some fleeting success, and criminal behavior with Ayers, then the era of Jim O'Brien (with fabulous coaching and pitiful recruiting, while cheating mind you :smash:)

all I can say is

Thank you Andy Geiger, and Thad Matta

Witte -- how could you forget a basketball player who had his basketball career ended by some cheap bastard stomping on his face

Sorenson -- don't know how you can forget a guy who played in the Final Four and beat Kentucky to get there
