I work for that company and that was the reason we got. We heard no other reasons regarding why not, so we just assumed that was the reason.

Likely more of a misunderstanding than him starting rumors, considering he's the owner. :)

To keep this thread going the right way.. Beanie just posted on Twitter that he has an appearance at a bowling alley in April. No other info yet.. haha

ok, here's my last post on this, was trying to keep Bean's private life, just that....but I don't want people to think that he is a bad dude, canceling signings and all......
I guess someone called the mall offices to say that Beanie was not going to be there because he fired his agent. However, Johnny Campbell (the president and FORMER OWNER) talked to Beanie's agent and Marketing manager and they let him know that Beanies mother was sick and he had to fly to florida.. They are in the process of rescheduling

No one ever said he was a bad guy. Numby just reported what he was told by the owner of the store. Didn't say it was good or bad, he cancelled and seems to have given a good amount of notice, not like he just didn't show up. We all know things happen and I don't think anyone was blaming Wells for having to cancel.

Yeah, I meant president.

I wasn't trying to make Beanie look like a bad guy. I gave a reason so people wouldn't think it was canceled for no reason. The "guess he can't honor a signing without an agent" comment sounds worse than I intended, looking back on it.

signed football from the 1970 season???

A good friend of mine husband passed away. In going through his belongings they found an ohio state football with about 50 signatures on it. I have done all of the traditional google research that I can do and from my findings it looks to be from the 1970 season. Some of the names on the ball are as follows. forgive me for misspelling or butchering any of the names for some of them are tough to read.
