Just curious what kind of OSU memorabilia people have out there that they really treasure, and if there is one thing you could have what would it be?

I have just started the collection at home and the goal is to add one big item a year. I have a nice print of and program from the National Championship game last year, and also a signed commemorative ball from Coach Tressel. The next item might be a framed, authentic jersey from Eddie George to hang on the wall.

I think the best item would be an authentic helmet signed by all of OSU's Heisman winners. This is obviously not going to happen now as they are not all still with us, but I think it would be impressive.

I've got a lot of stuff but my favorite is my Eddie George signed full sized helmet. My wife even lets me keep it in the living room!!! Right above it is a 16X20 picture of Grant throwing Dorsey down on the last play of the Fiesta Bowl... signed by Cie "2002 National Champs!"

I also have an old program signed by Vic Janowicz that he signed for me when I was kid.

I have a comemorative 2002 NC football (with all the scores for each game) signed by coach Tressel... however The item I like the best is a framed Dispatch front page of the 2002 NC, along with my ticket to the game, and a picture of those in my family that attened the game.

I have never heard of an auto table or anything. Your best bet is to stand by the south side stands. You wont be able to get Ginn... Ohio State is has armed guards near him . He was supposed to show up for some charity signings and he got pulled on 3 of them . You can thank ebay for him being pulled

You can thank e-bay because selling a signature of someone with eligibility left can cause trouble, and obviously no one wants to take any chances.

They used to do a big signing before the game when I was there, but the last one I went to was a total cf, and that was coming off the first Tressel 7-5 season (or whatever it was). I think they did away with it completely after the NC because there was no way to control or regulate it, and they would have been there for 12 hours signing otherwise, and there would have been dealers there trying to get 1000 things signed to make money off the NC.

I was at that signing before the 2002 spring game. I waited in line for probably 2 hrs and I seem to remember that a lot of people that waited didn't get in. Mike Doss had his own table and so did Coach Tressel. All of the other players were lined up in order of their jersey number and the idea was that a line would form in front of every player but there was a lot of cutting lines and it was pretty disorganized. The things that I remember the most were that Tim Anderson looked like a man among boys. Mo was on his cell phone the whole time and looked very uncomfortable to be surrounded by people. The best part was that when Nuge signed my helmet he was showing it to the other players because it was an authentic helmet and he was supprized at how "real" it looked.
