Well, ESPN could give a callback to the guy who wouldn't report to work, unless he got Herbie's spot (he believed he was better), so got canned for abandoning his job. Went on to become AD of Nebraska, but lost track of him from then on. Hey, Hollywood resurrects old movie titles, maybe ESPN could go back in time as well?

On March 13, 2024, Texas A&M University announced that Trev Alberts had been hired as its new athletic director, replacing Ross Bjork, who took the same position at Ohio State.
