Edwards sucks, all night long I said to myself Floyd would have caught this one and that one and so on.... geez...
C'mon Chief, Floyd is still a freshman. A freshman with the freshman record already, but a freshman nevertheless.

Ahh hell, he probably could have caught a few of those at least, like the one that hit Edwards' facemask. I don't know if Braylon is worthy of a 1st string WR. If he is, he's certainly inconsistant at best. I don't remember him having hands problems in college.

the problem is, every time you bury him as a terrible receiver, he makes a play TO or Randy would have trouble making.

I'm not sure there is a more athletic receiver in the NFL than Braylon. But you end up taking the good with the bad, and unfortunately the bad, is often just downright disgusting.

The Browns have no choice but play him though, Taking him out of the game just takes away the double he often receives and takes away our big play capability. As often as he drops it, the other team still has to respect it.

I would rather have a less athletic receiver that is consistent. If you got a guy that consistently drops catchable passes, you can't trust him in the clutch. I dunno...its the Browns, what else can you say?

I don't think I agree....I got into this argument this weekend.

Replace Braylon with a sure handed receiver with average speed, average athleticism, average route running. An overall average receiver (let's call him Joe Jurevicous).

No teams double him, safeties play closer to the line of scrimage, and you have no deep threat. Our injured bunrer (Donte Stallworth) who hasn't done shit anyways, is even less effective.

For the disappointment Braylon brings every weekend, you still need him on the field if you are the Browns. And he easily has the talent of a #1. He's the exact type of guy Cleveland trades and he becomes a HOF player.

how many of those tackles can be attributed to our secondary.

My God those guys are afraid to stick there nose into a play.

The worst part about being in no man's land like the Browns are at 4-6, is they aren't good enough to make the playoffs, and they aren't shitty enough to get the immediate high impact stud that I want in Malcolm Jenkins.

Although it's not going to take a BAMF like Malcolm to impact this secondary. I would think you only need a helmet, your cleats, and a pulse. Sounds easy enough.

Why the fuck did the Browns squib the last kickoff?

So the guy ran 1 kick back...just kick the damn ball and tackle the guy. Or hell, boom one out of the endzone. Dawson just hit a 56 yarder going that way.

Ugh, such a frustrating win.

Can't wait for Romeo to be gone.

Was I dreaming during the Bills last possession last night or did the announcers actually compliment Romeo's clock management?

He dropped quite a few in college, too. One fourth down against OSU in 2004 comes to mind. Bum.

Welcome to my world as a Bills fan for the past 8-9 years: 8 wins twice, 7 wins twice, 9, 6, 5... And the one time they lost enough to get a top-5 pick, they took freakin Mike Williams. (Granted, they do pretty well with those mid-1st picks, and whenever they go with a Buckeye it does work out great)

He looked like a damn genius out there compared to Jauron that last 5 minutes of the game.

Fuckin' Bills, finally get my hopes up and then bumble along to another 7-9, 8-8 season. :(

Harrison needs a lot more carries, Lewis is not a elite back no more and it takes for ever for him to cut, burst through a lane. He's killing us in that aspect
The problem with Harrison is that he is sort of a one dimensional back. He cannot play as a starter because he is not big enough to pick up blitzes plus at his size he would wear down pretty fast if he was the starting RB. He is more of a change of pace guy and third-down back.

I was very surprised to see Romeo call those timeouts right before the Bills tried that field-goal. Maybe he is starting to learn some things but I still don't want him back next season.

That was one of the knocks on Edwards before the draft. He dropped a lot of passes while in college and continues to do so in crucial situations for the Browns. You don't see premier WRs in the NFL dropping passes in critical situations like Edwards.
