PFT is reporting that Cutler is a Chicago Bear. No other details yet.. but if I had to guess, I'd say it involves more than Kyle Orton and the 18th overall pick...

EDIT: Yup. Two firsts, a third, and Kyle Orton for Cutler and a fifth.

How genius does this trade look now? The Broncos look like one of the best teams in the NFL right now, and they'll be loaded for the draft. They might not even need to draft a QB. Kyle Orton's only pick this year was a hail mary at the end of a half. He's not blowing anyone away, but he's taking care of the ball and doing what he needs to do.

McDaniels is doing a hell of a job. I just went back and read a lot of posts from this thread, and I don't think one person thought the Broncos would have five wins at the end of the season. And they're 5-0.

Broncos are having a good, but quiet, offseason. They've upgraded on the d-line. Got Jamal Williams from San Diego and Jarvis Green from New England. They needed defensive line help and they got it. They've needed a nose tackle for a while and they got him in Williams.

They also have two picks in the first round.. with the additions on the d-line they can make improvements in other positions of need. They should be good if they can get a QB who isn't that bad.

Considering that the Chargers are basically cleaning house, they should win the AFCW easily next year. Can't figure out wtf SD is doing but it looks like they are going to let Merriman and Vincent Jackson go, they have made no news and both are about to become unrestricted free agents in a year with no salary cap.

theoretically, this should help Teddy a ton if he stays in Miami. He's no longer the #1 and can be a primary deep threat while Marshall works the middle of the field. Plus, he can focus more on kicks and not on being the #1.

I still think Teddy can be succesful in Miami, unlike Gholston in New York. It will be interesting to see how Parcells plays this. Is it going to be too much money in receivers, so they have to move him??

If Ted gets the opportunity to be a role-player on that Miami squad he'll definitely produce.

I still can't help but wonder if BM's past all of his personal off-the-field issues, and if that had anything to do with his getting shipped out of Denver.
