Followed the broncos all season long. It's my old lady's team. Even when I had to watch them on live broadcast links through the web I did....Unreal...Maybe someone could do better with a 5th string rb (who also later in the season suffered a season ending acl tear),and missing 2,3,4 receivers for mulitiple games...That's not even beginning to talk about their horrid defense..Terrible decision imo..Nobody can win with a team like that. What the fuck do they expect? Jay Cutler is shitting bricks. Can't wait to see what "standards" they have.

He did more with less personnel than anyone in recent memory. If he can make a 1000 yard rusher out of Olandis fucking Gary, the Browns could use him, or Mangini for that matter. It will take the Broncos several years to escape medicrity...some of their defensive moves especially have been terrible.

People always talk about the Saints being devastated by injuries, but Denver was devastated just as much.. lost all of their starting linebackers at one point, lost Champ Bailey, were down to Jay Cutler doing QB sneaks in one game because they didn't have any running backs other than Tatum Bell. Insane.

If Jay Cutler didn't like throwing picks in the redzone, Shanahan still has a job and has some votes for coach of the year..

To be honest, it's a big shocker, he won back to back superbowls, I realize he's won one playoff game since but I think everyone with a brain understands how these divisional rivalries work. 1 Team becomes hot, 2 suck and one chases til the hot team cools down. Denver got faced with a situation where the Chargers had done amazing things in the draft, leaving them with a young team and a ton of talent. Denver was chasing that, the thing is, San Diego's door is quickly closing, Tomlinson will be 30 next year and several players are going to want huge contracts, so next year we might have a very different San Diego team with any new coach at Denver potentially looking better than they should.

And I always knew you were a closet Donkey lover numby.

That's just it though...When you have to pass every down shit happens. He has made GREAT throws in traffic with very little margin of error. He has a machine gun for an arm,and wants to win. Of course he isn't perfect neither was Elway. There is a difference in doing everything on offense and having a somewhat balance. The guys like Eddie Royal and Brandon Marshall are guys that very few people expected great things from. Now look at them. They aren't even close to having a solid "team"..They have a few great players who aren't expected to be,and a few great players that are expected to be. Meanwhile, they have injuries and nothing the rest of the ride. If it's anything less then Cower, the broncos fucked themselves by doing this.

They weren't a balanced team, but that doesn't excuse poor decisions. Cutler has a bad habit of forcing the ball into windows that don't exist. Brandon Marshall is a tremendous talent, but when he has two guys draped over him, you can't throw the ball at him. :tongue2:

I'm not saying Cutler doesn't make bad choices. Throughout the last games he made plenty of them. He looked worse, then he had all year. I don't like the idea of throwing "jump balls" to your best receiver either. I would guess seeing Peyton Hillis out for the year after being 5th string puts a damper on the running game though. I seen him force a lot of bad throws, but he wouldn't have to do that if there was something else there. He has the ability to be one of the best in the league for a long time, but has to surround himself with healthy players, and not try to win every game on his own.

Maybe Bowlen thinks he can give both jobs to the 'Chin'. I can't stand "the rat", but he sure would be a great coach for the Browns. Alas, they'll do something stupid like hire Pioli and bring McDaniels with him to coach.
