Brian Cole (former scum WR; transfer to Kentucky, transfer to JUCO)

Mind of Mike
Another Michigan recruit to keep an eye on is commit Brian Cole, who continues to receive serious interest from Wisconsin, Ohio State and Michigan State. What makes his situation more interesting is that he plans to enroll in a school in January. As expected, Cole is comfortable with Hoke and is hoping that he keeps his job, which obviously will only raise more questions since it's unlikely that will actually happen.

As Michigan's recruiting class continues to unravel, commitments continue to schedule official visits to other schools. Four-star Brian Cole of Saginaw (Michigan) Heritage has already taken official visits to Wisconsin andPurdue, has another one scheduled for Nebraska later this month and is talking to Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State about visits. The most likely of these last three to grab a visit are the Buckeyes. With Cole being able to play wide receiver or safety, and with the already mentioned need the Buckeyes have at safety, his recruitment has definitely gotten more interesting. Also keep in mind that Cole is enrolling at a school in January, so time is definitely running out for more visits. What can't be seen as a good sign for Michigan fans is that an official visit to Ann Arbor does not even seem to be in the works. At this point it is very unlikely that he sticks with Michigan and to make things worse, if the visit situation works out for the Buckeyes, there is a solid chance he may end up in Columbus.
