If OSU finds itself fighting over a quarterback recruit versus the likes of Wisconsin (no offense) then my worry is on how they are giving us any competition in the first place. Wisconsin will never be in on a big time QB recruit, and that was true before the Free Agency signings.
OSU shouldn't ever have to fight off Wisconsin for a quarterback. Offensive linemen, sure. Running backs occasionally, and the odd tweener defensive recruit. But not quarterbacks.
But wait, there's MORE!The Oregon State football team found a way to watch video on Saturday's opponent even though Wisconsin refused to hand over video like teams usually do.
Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema decided against sending the latest video of the victory over Northern Iowa because he felt that it was an unfair advantage since the Beavers didn't play their scheduled opener against Nicholls State due to Hurricane Isaac.
Coaches commonly exchange video to help prepare for each other. And if they can't get it for some reason, they get it from opponents.
It?s mandatory for conference teams to exchange video. Nonconference foes agree in the offseason as to what the exchange will be.
"We informed Oregon State and our video director reached out to them after the game on Saturday and said we're not sending this film obviously because we didn't get something on them," Bielema said at his weekly media press conference. "And I had to go through a little bit of a process there just to secure our film. So we had to go through some things just to guard from anybody hopefully sending our film to them. There's no way you can guarantee it in today's world, but I've been assured by the Big Ten office that, that wasn't going to happen."

In fact, if Bulimia did send them game tapes we'd be ridiculing him for doing so. Besides, wasn't Wiscy's game on TV? OrgSt could've recorded it as a contingiency backup for just this instance...
