Bret Bielema (HC Illinois)

So he's pulling for his opponent? Very believable.

Yep, and you have to wonder which came first: deciding not to recruit any of Penn State's players or deciding that you didn't want/need any of them.

Is it classy to publicly proclaim that you have decided not steal bread off of a starving person (while leaving out that you just had a steak dinner)?

So, I'll sum up Bielema's comments for those keeping score at home......

"I'm a douche...I always have been and always will be. I fit in quite nicely with our fan base. I won't try to poach from Penn St, but I won't stop anyone from transferring to play for us. Hold on a sec, I see that Matt McGloin is calling......"

Actually, it looks like he's correct. Matt hayes used the term "gentleman's agreement":

All Bielema was quoted as saying was that he didn't want the Big Ten to turn into the SEC....

Is this another one of his "the B1G has a gentleman agreement" comments?

Because he was on Russell Wilson like flies on [Mark May] last year. Poaching was easy and fun when it's an OOC team.
Not even close to the same situation.
