Wonder if the dealership let him have it on a handshake agreement?

Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet . . .

Former Maryland quarterback Danny O?Brien will transfer to Wisconsin, the school announced Wednesday.
?We?re excited that Danny has chosen to attend Wisconsin," Badgers Coach Bret Bielema said in a statement. "The first thing we did when we were aware of Danny's interest was to try and find out what type of person he was and if he would fit into our program. From our dealings with him and all the things I have heard from those who have been around him, he is a tremendous person and has great character. He had a fantastic visit and our current players who met him came away impressed. Having graduated from Maryland in just three years, you know right away that he is a smart kid.?

And interesting analysis . . .

You might want to actually read the article.
If anything, that reinforces my point even more. How many schools consistently bring in more than 1 QB in a class? For example, take a look at Wisconsin's and Ohio State's number of QB recruits in each class since Bielema took over in 2006.

2006: Wisconsin (1)/Ohio State (1)
2007: Wisconsin (1)/Ohio State (0)
2008: Wisconsin (1)/Ohio State (1)
2009: Wisconsin (1)/Ohio State (1)
2010: Wisconsin (1)/Ohio State (1)
2011: Wisconsin (0)/Ohio State (2)
2012: Wisconsin (1)/Ohio State (1)

This does not account for recruits that may have entered as athletes and/or other positions then switched to QB.

I don't think he's having an issue numbers-wise, they've just struggled with injuries or inconsistency.
