Hate to say this, but Bert is probably a good fit for Corn. His style of play would be a decent fit with Nebraska's former identity (run first play defense) and I think recruiting a massive oline and a really good RB is probably doable out there on the Plains.

Don't think Corn fans would be thrilled with the hire, but I think he would do ok.

How ADs can’t figure out how to include penalty clauses in contracts is shocking. I’d put in:

“Four seasons in a row with at least 5 losses results in termination of contract for cause...cause being you suck at being a coach and did not achieve any of the goals you agreed to.”

Then THEY might get those kinds of clauses in THEIR contracts . . .
