I'm suddenly reminded of an incident that happened when my daughter was about 7 or 8--she was playing Sorry with a neighbor kid. Remember that board game? If you throw the dice & land on the right square you can send your opponent back to the starting line. Well, she landed on the right square & wanted to do that, to which the other kid loudly complained to her mom who then told my daughter: "That's not very nice." It still comes up in conversation every once in a while, when we want to reference the idea that for some people, it's considered impolite when you play the game so you win it.
