For the purposes of this discussion, a Breakout Buckeye will be defined as:
Level I Breakout: Unexpected All-American

For the purposes of this discussion, a Breakout Buckeye will be defined as:
Level I Breakout: Unexpected All-American
- A player who is not a concensus pre-season All-Big10 first team pick, but finishes the season as a First or Second String All-American.
- Players not eligible (are concensus pre-season All-Big10)
- James Laurinaitis
- Malcolm Jenkins
- Vernon Gholston
- Players not eligible (are concensus pre-season All-Big10)
- A player who is not at least a 2nd string All-Big10 pick on at least one Conference Preview (links available HERE), but finishes the season as a concensus All-Big10 pick.
- Players not eligible
- all of the above, plus...
- Alex Boone
- Kirk Barton
- Steve Rehring
- Chris Wells
- Marcus Freeman
- A.J. Trapasso
- Players not eligible

My Opinion:
- Larry Grant -- I think he'll absolutely terrorize opposing QB's this year (and a few RB's too).
- Brian Robiskie -- He's going to make some good DB's look very bad.
