Breaking down Urban Meyer's offense

Bert and Saban are two little whiny [censored]s. Adapt or GFY.

Saban doesn't need to adapt much of anything since he's wont 2 straight NCs. He's been doing alright against all types of offenses since he's returned to CFB. Now Bert is another story...

Saban's had severe difficulty against quick passing offenses that spread the field.

Florida in 08. Utah the same year. Texas A&M this year. South Carolina in 2010. Hell, even Garrett Gilbert shredded the Tide secondary in the title game.

Let that last part sink in.

Im sure some are getting tired of Osu to coach Meyers teams at Uf, but I happened to see this article talking about one of his Uf teams in the midst of their title runs, and it started to remind me of what he's doing here in cbus. When you think of the amount of speed that's going to be infused to the program, he may take our program further than he did in UF and his vision of elite speed across the skill positions, to go along with actual football talent(guys like Brandon James and Jeff demps were speed demons, but more track stars than football players, IMO). When you think of the freshman he just brought in, dontre Wilson, jalin Marshall, Ezekiel Elliot. To go along with the Class of 2014 speedsters in parris Campbell, terry mclaurin, and possibly Curtis Samuel. And then include in there Eric glover Williams for 2015, and you're talking about a crazy amount of speed on this team. I can't wait to this offense evolve over the years

To be fair, we could have used some of that FL football talent in Jan 07. The DL in particular ate our lunch. But you are correct that Meyer will bring in that type of talented speed and bring the program back to the top.
